The Initial Evaluation
Posture evaluation; functional movement evaluation; joint stability evaluation; functional strength assessment and finally a hands-on evaluation of the soft tissue structures involved and any dysfunctions found in adjacent areas utilizing Active Release Techniques (ART).

The Treatment
To utilize highly focused Active Release Techniques to eliminate adhesions and scarring, reduce any present nerve entrapments within the soft tissue and return normal relative motion of the soft-tissue structures. ART is a very specific process designed to do exactly what is described above. Instruction provided in the use of very specific functional exercises to return stabilization and ability – pain free. We will also utilize any other additional methods necessary to support and improve function.

What to Expect
The large majority of my patients are seen between 2 and 6 times only for a specific injury. That is the difference between ART and other treatment approaches. ART is highly specific, medically patented and utilized in all areas of care (athletics, work-site, hospital, and many more areas.)
